Article 1 | Definitions

1.1. La Bodeguita: The dance school La Bodeguita, located in The Hague.
1.2. Participant: The person who signs up for classes or workshops at La Bodeguita.
1.3. Class Card: A prepaid card for a set number of classes (10, 20 or 30).
1.4. Membership: A contract to join weekly classes for a specific period.

Article 2 | Applicability

2.1. These terms apply to all classes, workshops and events offered by La Bodeguita.
2.2. Changes to these terms are only valid if confirmed in writing.

Article 3 | Class Cards

3.1. Class cards are personal and cannot be transferred to others.
3.2. Available options: 10, 20 or 30 classes.
3.3. Validity:

• 10 classes: valid for 3 months

• 20 classes: valid for 6 months

• 30 classes: valid for 12 months
  3.4. No refunds for expired or unused classes.

Article 4 | Memberships

4.1. Memberships are available for 3, 6 or 12 months.
4.2. After the initial period, the membership will automatically continue on a monthly basis unless cancelled.
4.3. Pause options:

• 3-month membership: max 7 days pause

• 6-month membership: max 14 days pause

• 12-month membership: max 30 days pause
  4.4. A pause must be requested at least one week in advance by email to info@labodeguita.nl.

Article 5 | Payment and Cancellation

5.1. Memberships and class cards must be paid in advance.
5.2. Cancellation must be done by email to info@labodeguita.nl at least one month in advance.
The cancellation must be received before the first day of a new month, to avoid automatic renewal.
Example: to stop by October 1st, you must cancel no later than August 30th.
5.3. No refunds for missed classes, unless cancelled by La Bodeguita.

Article 6 | Photos and Videos

6.1. Photos and videos may be taken during classes and events.
6.2. By joining, you give permission for these images to be used on our website and social media.
6.3. If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please let us know before the class or event, or send an email to info@labodeguita.nl.

Article 7 | Liability

7.1. Participation in all classes is at your own risk.
7.2. La Bodeguita is not responsible for injuries or damage to personal belongings, unless caused by serious fault or intent.

Article 8 | Privacy and Data Protection

8.1. We respect your privacy and follow the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
8.2. Your data is only used to provide our services and will never be shared with third parties, unless required by law.

Article 9 | Complaints and Disputes

9.1. Complaints can be sent within 14 days to info@labodeguita.nl. We will work together to find a solution.
9.2. If no solution is found, the issue may be submitted to the court in The Hague.

Article 10 | Changes to the Terms

10.1. La Bodeguita may update these terms. Any changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance via email or on our website.
10.2. If you disagree with the changes, you may cancel your agreement.

Article 11 | Force Majeure

11.1. La Bodeguita is not responsible for situations beyond our control (such as extreme weather or technical problems) that prevent classes from taking place.

Article 12 | Membership Upgrades and Downgrades

12.1. Downgrading your membership is not possible during the contract period.
12.2. You can upgrade your membership at any time, and the new benefits will start immediately.
You cannot do this yourself in the app, but we can take care of it for you. Just send an email to info@labodeguita.nl.

Article 13 | Making Up Missed Classes

13.1. Missed classes can be made up within one month, as long as your membership is still active.
13.2. This is not possible after cancelling your membership.
13.3. For Beginners 1 and 2, missed classes can only be made up within the same course period.
They cannot be transferred to the next course.
From Beginners 3 and up, classes can be made up within one month, as long as your class card or membership is active.
